Search Tips

The list on this page is an interactive display of MGS Maps.

The "Map Search" field can be used to find a map by keyword, location, subject, etc.
Items in the facet windows on the right can be selected to filter the publications by map series, author, scale, and format availability.
The columns can be set to ascending or descending order by clicking on the column title.
Selecting "Citations" in the center top will switch the map list to full citations.
Click a hyperlinked title for more information on the map product.
Click an icon in the format column to download or locate the map product:

The Maryland Geological Survey is in the process of generating digital versions of maps. The current number of digital versions available online is limited.
