pages so we will not duplicate those efforts here. We recommend
searching Google for rose-related
sites. If you have a link you would like to see on this list,
please email Bob Conkwright.

| Usenet |

Usenet is a world-wide bulletin board service. Usenet
is an enormous collection of "newsgroups" that allows posting
and responding to questions about every imaginable topic, similar
to a bulletin board. Through this system you can post a question
and get answers from around the world within a day. Usenet
is usually offered as a basic service by your Internet provider,
along with e-mail and world wide web access. Be aware that
Usenet is, for the most part, unmoderated and uncensored, and as
such can contain objectionable content. With that caution in
mind, Usenet can be fun and informative. For more information
about Usenet, refer to your Internet provider's web site, or visit Usenet.org.
Usenet offers a number of newsgroups devoted
to roses and gardening. The Usenet newsgroup devoted to rose gardening
is rec.gardens.roses . This link
will only work if you have access to Usenet and your computer is configured
to use it.
If you do not have direct access to Usenet,
there are several web sites that can give you access, including Google's
rec.garden.roses link.
The Official Rose FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
is occasionally updated and posted on Usenet. This FAQ is a list
of questions and answers commonly posted on rec.gardens.roses. You
can always read this FAQ even without Usenet access by visiting the Rose
FAQ page.
