Preliminary data:
Completion date: March 18, 2002
Contractor: Sydnor Hydro, Inc.
Borehole depth: 1,600 feetWell depth: 1,542 feet
Borehole diameter: 12 inches
Well diameter: 4 inches
Screen intervals: 1,492-1,512; and 1,522-1,532 feet
Screened aquifer: Lower Patapsco formation
Static water level: 190.75 feet below land surface (measured 4/10/02)
A 24-hour pump test was conducted with a discharge of 66.3 gallons per minute (gpm), immediately followed by a 24-hour recovery test. Based on the results of those tests, the specific capacity of the well was determined to be 0.54 gpm/foot. The transmissivity of the aquifer was determined to be 4,800 gpd/ft (640 ft2/day). Total drawdown was 35.7 feet.
