Preliminary data:
Completion date: January 30, 2002
Contractor: Sydnor Hydro, Inc.
Borehole depth: 1667 feetWell depth: 835 feet
Borehole diameter: 12 inches
Well diameter: 4 inches
Screen intervals: 795-825 feet
Screened aquifer: Upper Patapsco formation
Static water level: 218.05 feet below land surface (measured 2/27/02)
A 24-hour pump test was conducted with a discharge of 56.3 gallons per minute (gpm), immediately followed by a 24-hour recovery test. Based on the results of those tests, the specific capacity of the well was determined to be 1.7 gpm/foot. The transmissivity of the aquifer was determined to be 8,600 gpd/ft (1,100 ft2/day). Total drawdown was 33.9 feet.
