From the Northeast or the North (e.g., via I-795 from Gettysburg, Westminster, Hanover, Hampstead; or I-83 from York, Harrisburg):

Kenneth N. Weaver BuildingFrom the Beltway (I-695) take I-83 (the Jones Falls Expressway, or JFX) south. About 7 miles from the Beltway, exit right onto the 28th Street/Druid Park Lake off ramp and bear LEFT (east) onto 28th Street. Go 7 traffic lights to St. Paul street. Turn RIGHT (south) onto St. Paul Street. Go about ½ mile to parking lot (between 24th and 23rd Streets). Entrance to MGS parking lot is on RIGHT side of St. Paul Street at the gray MGS sign.

From the South (e.g., via I-97 from Annapolis; or I-95, US 1, or Md 295 (Baltimore-Washington Parkway) from Washington, D.C.):

a. From the Beltway (I-695) go north on I-95 and I-395 (Downtown/Inner Harbor) or go north on Md. Route 295 (Baltimore-Washington Parkway, becomes Russell St. in the city). Bear RIGHT onto Martin Luther King Boulevard. Go about 1 mile on MLK Blvd. Note the cross street Eutaw Place or Eutaw St. for reference; the next street is Howard St./Cathedral St. Turn LEFT (north) onto Howard Street. (It is hard to miss Howard St. because it parallels the Light Rail System at this location.) Go about 0.8 mile to 23 street and turn RIGHT (east). Go 2½ blocks, crossing Maryland Ave. and Charles St. Entrance to the MGS parking lot is on the Left side of 23rd Street immediately before you come to St. Paul Street.

b. From downtown Baltimore/Inner Harbor area, proceed north on Charles Street for about 2 miles. (Note: Charles St. splits to go on both sides of the Washington Monument; don't worry about which lane to be in at this point, because the split lanes merge on the north side of the monument.) About 4 or 5 blocks north of North Avenue, turn right onto 23rd Street. Entrance to MGS parking lot is on the LEFT side at the gray MGS sign, immediately before you come to St. Paul Street.

From the West (e.g., via I-70 or US 40 from Hagerstown, Frederick, Ellicott City, etc.):

Follow US 40 east (becomes Edmondson Ave., then Mulberry Ave.) toward the center of Baltimore. You have a choice:

(1) From US 40, turn LEFT (north) onto Martin Luther King Blvd. Paul Street.

...or...

From the East or the Northeast (e.g., via I-95 or US 40 from New York, Philadelphia, Aberdeen):

a. If on I-95, follow I-95 around the south side of Baltimore, through the Fort McHenry Tunnel ($1 toll) to I-395 north into the city. Then proceed as in 2a, above.

b. If on US 40, either get onto I-95 south and proceed as in 4a, or following US 40 west (becomes Orleans St., 2-way traffic) towards the center of Baltimore until it splits and becomes Franklin St. (one-way westbound). After about 1 or 2 blocks, turn RIGHT (north) onto Charles St. and proceed as in 2b, above.

c. If on US 1 (e.g.from Bel Air), Follow US 1 southwest into Baltimore. Turn RIGHT (west) onto North Avenue and continue about 2 miles to Charles St. Turn RIGHT (north) onto Charles St. and go about 4 blocks to 23rd Street.
