The cave is in the Tomstown Dolomite. |

| Description | |||
| In the
ridge east of Bowman Cave there is a small cave, the entrance of which was
formerly a groundhog hole. Steam issuing from the opening on a cold winter
morning disclosed the presence of the cave. The entrance was enlarged exposing
a steeply sloping shaft which drops four feet into a triangular shaped room,
ten feet long and four feet high. The passage trends southwest.
