           The Coastal and Environmental Geosciences Program (CEGS) realizes that intelligent ecosystem and resource stewardship is based on sound scientific principles and geologic knowledge that are applicable to protecting, preserving, and enhancing natural resources.  The mission of the Coastal and Environmental Geosciences Program is to investigate and determine the geologic framework of the State's geologic resources and providing information for wise resource.
